Echinopsis oxygona Echinopsis eyriesii, commonly known as easter lily cactus or sea urchin cactus, is a perennial member of the Cactaceae family. The dark-green stems are rounded and become cylindrical with age. The 10 to 20 ribs are covered with straight white areoles which bear several short spines. The white flowers are funnel-shaped and bloom at night for 1 to 2 days. The inconspicuous fruit contain black seeds.
