Haemanthus albiflos
Haemanthus albiflos, commonly known as paintbrush, is an evergreen bulbous perennial belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. The dark-green leaves are smooth, thick, tongue-shaped and covered with soft hairs. Dense, small flowers with short, narrow white petals and long white filaments form clusters to 10 cm cross. The fruit is a red berry containing oval-shaped seeds.
