Neobuxbaumia polylopha

Neobuxbaumia polylopha, commonly known as cone cactus, wax cactus or golden-spined saguaro, is a species of flowering plant in the Cactaceae family. It is a big cactus forming green columns growing to 15 m and having 10 to 36 narrow ribs. The small areoles bear 1 flexible central spine and 4 to 8 radial spines. This cactus produces red flowers and green ovoid fruits.
