Pachypodium Lamerei, commonly known as Madagascan palm, is a perennial member of the Apocynaceae family. It has a succulent grey stem covered with sharp thorns. The green leaves are simple, lanceolate and surround the crown. This plant produces tubular white flowers and cucumber-like follicles.
