Parodia leninghausii, commonly known as yellow tower cactus, golden ball or lemon ball, is a species of flowering plant in the Cactaceae family. This Brazilian cactus has a cylindrical stem growing to 1m height and 12 cm in diameter. It has more than 30 ribs covered with areoles bearing 3 to 4 central spines and 15 to 20 radial spines. Bright yellow flowers are produced, then spherical fruits containing brown seeds.
