Globularia alypum, called Turbith, is a mediterranean plant of the Plantaginaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub which grows in arid rockeries. The grey-green leaves are oval, alternate and have a short petiole. The blue flowers are odorous and bloom from autumn to spring. The fruit is an achene.
